As a young child, I remember my dad taking me into our back yard to "look at our trees", which was really his way of spending more time together. I didn't know at the time, but he was taking my photograph. Candid shots of his only daughter during an innocent time. His love of capturing the moment in a candid way epitomizes my view of what photography means to me.

I look back now, as a wife and mother, and I realize that children are only young once - this moment in your life will never come again. Unlike most everything that can be purchased, portraits won’t depreciate in value - in fact, they will only get more valuable with time.

My goal is to capture the moments that you hold dear, that moment that passes you by.

“What I like about photographs is that they capture a moment that’s gone forever, impossible to reproduce". ~ Karl Lagerfeld
